Westminster Refugee Consortium is pleased to conclude that the event surpassed our expectations and participation and has created a forum where different community groups from various ethnic groups shared through activities, performance and food, the experience and knowledge characteristic of each community. People danced together, played together and on that day language was never a barrier. Children and parents also had the opportunity to engage in activities and learning via the workshops we have set up for them.
Testimonials:
“Beautiful event” Edward Yendlury- City of Westminster Recycling Department “Life is too short, we have to enjoy” Siham Mohamed “Can we have one of this every month?!” Frequently asked question “We have to get together to celebrate our differences and learn the richness of other cultures” Patricia Cunha- Community Link Worker
